International Literature Festival Berlin

The new season 2018/19 opens with a spacial new programme. For the first time I was asked to create new music settings to graphic novels – a recognition of the new genre of Comic Concert that honours me very much. EUNIC Berlin (European Union National Institutes for Culture Berlin) has invited the authors and illustrators of four comic works to be guests of Graphic Novel Day 2018 – the spacial yearly event of the International Literature Festival Berlin on 09.09.2018. The creators of this four books come from four countries: Austria, Belgium, Greece and Portugal. As a prelude to Graphic Novel Day, EUNIC Berlin has initiated a Comic Concert, in which I will set music to scenes from those four graphic works.
